Tiny Green Bubble is the place to go to see new technology that’s going to help the environment, learn how to greenify your house, get the latest green trends in fashion, learn about eco-tourism, and connect with others who are interested in the same thing.
History
Tiny Green Bubble was born in 2008 just as Ashleigh Emerick was about to leave for three months of bike riding down the coast of Af
rica in the name of charity in the Tour d’Afrique. Having recently left years in the corporate marketing world, Ashleigh was ready to strike out on her own and do something that could help bring good into the world, but in a way that was also business sustainable (thus ensuring that the information she put in the world to help people would still be there in years to come!)
Two years later, she partnered up with former colleague and good friend Jocelyn Saurini. The girls recruited a team of dedicated environmentalists and writers and got to work taking TGB to the next level, including in their business plans room for social networking, local networking and more.
Changing the World
What the TGB staff believes is that we can’t change the world by preaching to people that they have to make drastic changes immediately. And that even if we could, usually the answers aren’t as black and white as “Go vegetarian” or “Install solar panels.” We need to help people make small changes that can then add up to incremental changes, and when combined together will be exponential changes! Someday, we may be an entirely green planet. But in the meantime, we need to help people learn to live green in ways that they can actually sustain.
