Ah, yes! Fresh (free trade, sustainable) coffee in the morning is one of the best joys in life. Unfortunately, the grocery store usually only has the nasty, bleached, chlorine filters. It's like drinking coffee made with pool water, right? Yuck. But these If You Care Unbleached Coffee Filters ensure a chlorine-free cuppa joe.

Many of you may be surprised that we share a pet peeve. You may not even know you have it, but we know it’s there.
What is it?
Well, from our neatest editors to our, shall we say, not so neat editors we all agreed that hangers and the chaos they can create (especially in winter when you have heavy jackets to hang up), just make us grind our teeth.
Okay we will admit it. One of the little pleasures for several of our type A personalities in the office, is the joy of starting a new notebook. We know, we know. Not the most eco-friendly item to get excited about, considering we all carry a blackberry or iPhone that have an “app” for creating great to-do lists to help you keep us ogranized while we are on the go. However, this does not seem to replace the feeling of creating your to-do list (color coded) so that it fits neatly on one page or the joy of crossing that final item off the list and tearing that page out as you claim victory over your tasks.
Laundry is not fun. The end. End of sentence and debate. Honestly we put a team of product testers on laundry patrol and after the task was completed, we all agreed that you can make it smell better and you can put it in a pretty room, but making it fun is a no-go. When asked what the worst part of the laundry process is, testers were unanimous – the folding. It just takes so long and the missing sock mystery will forever go unsolved.
In many cities and towns new by-laws are being passed that allow retailers to charge a fee for those who want a plastic bag to carry their goods out of the store. Though a nominal fee, it does seem to be encouraging us to bring in our reusable totes so we can avoid it. Or maybe it is to avoid “that look” from other shoppers that seems to say “What, you didn’t bring your reusable bag?” – yikes, that look can be harsh at times.
